Artist's Description

This is a wasp nest I came across in the local dog park in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It was built precariously on a thin branch of a juvenile tree.

The pulp is also used within the nest to make combs with cells for brood rearing.

About Laurie Tsemak
