Graffiti is a form of visual communication, involving the unauthorized marking of public space by an individual or group. We don’t have a lot of graffiti in the city, but I do come across it at times, particularly when working on industrial imagery. Some people think of graffiti as art, others vandalism, and others, a culture of its own. However one views it, graffiti is illegal. While I do enjoy adding it to my industrial work, I am in no way endorsing the activity. Art should never impose on others or their property.
